Black Estate Home Young Vines Chardonnay 2019, North Canterbury

Wild, fresh, fruity and floral - aromas of citrus and grapefruit peel, gun flint and a touch of cider. There’s white fleshed stone fruit and a core of mineral, crushed wet stone aromas. On the palate - dry with flavours of peaches and lemons , quince and honeysuckle. Fine mealy textures with a leesy mouth feel, medium+ acidity and weight. A satin polish to the finish of the wine. Lengthy, youthful and intriguing. Best drinking from 2021 through 2024+.
