Nga Waka Lease Block Pinot Noir 2018, Martinborough

Youthful, fruity and varietal with aromas of raspberries and cherry, a silty clay-like earthy quality, spice, rose and smoky wood. On the palate - youthful fruity and spicy with flavours of toasty wood spice and smoke then red berry and mild earthy flavours. There’s a touch of savoury dried herb and a tart fruit note as well. Fine tannins and medium+ acidity, balanced, varietal and textured. A really nice wine with pinosity, hrmony and polish. Best drinking from mid to late 2021 through 2025+.
