A very inviting bouquet with a complex package of aromas from stone fruit to gun flint, grapefruit peel to baked apple, vanilla and cashew to brazil nut and a light lees autolysis. Ripe fruited, stony soils and toasty smoky oak layers. On the palate - full-bodied, weighty and packed with flavours of oak, nuts, baked stone fruit and stones. The wood tannins add an extra dimension to the texture and length. Overall a youthful wine with cellar time needed to bring all the attributes together in harmony. Best drinking from late 2021 through 2026.
