Brick Bay Pinot Gris 2019, Matakana, Auckland

Beautiful bouquet with pure fruit aromas of sweet Bosc pear, red apple and white flowers, a chilled white peach tea and soft white pepper spice add complexity, subtlety and depth. On the palate - all the pure fruits aromas are showcased in an off-dry style with a silky almost creamy texture, contrasting acidity then flavours of white fleshed fruit, white spice, a leesy autolysis and honeysuckle finish. An excellent example with a complex, lengthy finish. Drink now or cellar till 2022 if yo would like to see how well this wine will age.
