Dark berries and toasty smoky wood, violet and clove, some bacon and tobacco aromas. On the palate - earth and dried herb, tobacco and blackberry, cocoa and clove, plums and toasty oak flavours. Fine to moderate tannins with medium acidity highlighting a whisper of mint. Overall a balanced and well made wine in a drink style. Best drinking is upon purchase and through 2023.
