Amisfield Pinot Noir 2014, Central Otago
Library tasting
Noticeably darker core of colour with purple, ruby and red with a pinker youthful rim. On the nose a savoury and fruit centric bouquet with dark plum and cherry, no mistaking the oak signature, quite toasty and smoky. On the palate - exuberant flavours that mirror the nose; youthful, fresh and vibrant with flavours of raspberry, cherry and red fruits, sweet oak and vanilla, a dusty clove moment. Complex, dry, fine and lengthy. This wine is youthful and still developing with potential to continue to develop more complexity if you continue to store your stock properly.
What a great opportunity - thank you Amisfield
