Craggy Range Te Kahu Red Blend 2018, Gimblett Gavels, Hawkes Bay

craggy range (2).png

From a blend of Merlot, the Cabernets, Malbec and Petit Verdot - a bouquet of red berries and plums - wild and domesticated versions, violets and stony soil aromas, spicy wood tones as well as loads of energy and freshness. On the palate - lush, fruity and packed with dark and light skinned berries, plums and stony soil flavours. Firm youthful tannins are ripe, contrasting core of fruit, spicy wood tones and palate refreshing acidity. A lovely example, well made and will please many who try this wine. Best drinking from today and through 2025+.
