Seresin Leah Pinot Noir 2017, Marlborough
Really lovely bouquet with layers of fruit and wood spices, wild red flowers and mineral-laden soil, complexity and charm. On the palate - equally complex with flavours of cherries, red apple skin, wild berries and flowers. No mistaking the youthful side with firm tannins and lively acid line, but easily contrasted with the core of fruit and sweetness of wood. Layers of spices, medium alcohol and weight. Well made. Still developing and starting to harmonise, a wine to cellar till late 2021/early 2022 and will be amazing till 2027. In the meantime - decant for service and serve with food.
