Fragrant, fruity, quite complex and distinctive with aromas of dark red berry fruits, plums, raspberry, dark cherry, olive and bay-leaf. Suggestions of oak add a toasty wood spice layer. On the palate - firm, youthful, tense and dry. Flavours reflect the nose with a core of fruit then textures from ripe tannins and medium+ acidity - both adding a desirable chalky note. A balanced and well made wine with some bottle development tome ahead. Best drinking from today and through 2023.
