Burn Cottage Riesling Gruner Veltliner 2017 Central Otago

A gently aromatic bouquet with aromas of wild white blossoms, white spice and yeast lees moments. Distinctive scents of pear and apple then a sweet hay and honeysuckle layer. Some classic aromas of GV with a quiet radish and snow pea note. Overall alluring and quite complex. Dry on the palate with an abundance of flavours from spicy pear to fresh apple to flowers and white spice. A lush steely and mineral mid-palate flavour leads to a fresh and vibrant texture with plenty of acidity, a coarse silk texture and lengthy fine finish. A great flavours combination, balanced and well made. Drink now and through 2023.
