Nockies Palette Chardonnay 2018 Hawkes Bay

Nutty creamy buttery bouquet. Aromas of vanilla and cashew baked stone-fruits and grapefruit. Dry with flavours that match the nose, weighty and creamy with some new wood raw energy, warming alcohol , balanced acid line , medium length and finish. A young wine with integration and harmonies of Chardonnay still underway. Best to cellar for another 12 months and taste again in early 2020. For best served with handmade fettuccine, cream and smoked salmon, capers, Parmesan and baby spinach.
