Two Paddocks The Last Chance Pinot Noir 2017, Earnscleugh Vineyard, Central Otago

Complex and enticing bouquet of Pinot Noir. Aromas swing through red flowers then red berries, soft wild thyme , a touch of mushroom, cherry and red apple then raspberry. These aromas repeat as flavours on the palate with firm youthful tannins, youthful acid line and a core of flavours that reflect the nose. Fine, ripe wood and fruit tannins, flavours of vanilla and soft clove and toasty oak all combine to lengthen the finish and show off a wine with intensity, complexity and most importantly - pinosity. Well made, lengthy finish. Drink now and through 2024.
