Lifted, fresh, fruity and varietal bouquet. Peppercorn and raspberry, fresh new oak and wood spices, cloves and vanilla, dark cherry, dried herb and gravels. On the palate - firm, youthful, dry, textured and engaging. Flavours of fruits and spices return then giveway to firm tannins and a back bone of acidity. Lengthy finish, well made and tense. Decant well ahead of time for service. Best drinking from late 2020 through 2023.

Fruity, lifted and varietal core of aromas suggesting plum and cherry, moderate impact of oak with a softer vanilla and clove layer. Some rose and a whisper of gravelly earth. On the palate - fruity, fleshy, fresh and dry. Flavours of cherry and other red berries, fine tannins and medium+ acidity, notes of brown baking spices and vanilla and mild toasty oak. Overall balanced and well made. Drink now and through 2023.
