Floral then fruity, then floral again. A focused and pure fruited bouquet with sweet pear and apple aromas, a little white spice and core of minerality. On the palate - fleshy and juicy with salivating acidity, flavours mirror the nose adding in a light lemon note. Balance and well made with a lengthy finish. Neudorf Moutere Chardonnay 2018, Nelson

Fragrant and enticing bouquet of Chardonnay with aromas of ripe stone fruits, apple and sweet grapefruit. Some spices of French oak and a light floral layer helps a mineral earthy quality get louder. On the palate - dry, weighty and complex. Flavours of citrus and tree fruit then white fleshed stone fruits begin to emerge. Layers of wood spice and French oak also return.
