Fresh, bright and fruity bouquet of Chardonnay with aromas of vanilla and yellow peach, some cream and toasty wood. Young and gently creamy on the palate with flavours of peaches and vanilla, apples and pears, toasty wood and a mild lees flavour of baking spice and ginger. Youthful with some lively acidity and just warming alcohol. Well made in a drink now style. Best from today through 2021.

Delta Estate Hatters Hill Chardonnay 2018, Marlborough

Toasty, creamy, peach and apple, sweet grapefruit and vanilla and baking spice bouquet. Dry, firm, youthful, just creamy in texture with contrasting mild wood tannins and medium+ acidity. Quite lovely on the palate with a core of yellow fleshed stone fruit and wood flavours, vanilla and spice. Well made with a lengthy finish. Drink now and through 2022.
