Soma Cellars

Soma Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 Napa Valley, California

Deep ruby core of colour with a crimson, ruby and pink(ish) rim. Aromas are distinctive, concentrated and forward with suggestions of blackberry and Doris plum, clove and baking spices, smoky bacon oak layer and soft brown sugar sweetness. On the palate - youthful, firm and dry with flavours of dark berries and plums, toasty smoky oak, firm tannins, medium acidity and warming alcohol. All working in harmony and leading to a lengthy finish. Youthful still so if you have some in cellar - leave it there. Looking best from 2022 through 2032.
