Craft Farm Syrah 2016 Hawkes Bay

by Ant MacKenzie Wines - A bouquet loaded with aromas of sun-warmed raspberries and plum, blackcurrant and blue fruits. The pepper signature of Syrah is noticed though not strong showing off some aromas of violets and clove. Dry, warm and textured on the palate with firm tannins and plenty of acidity, flavours reflect cherry and raspberry the most. Again - a mild pepperyness and floral layer. Well made, drinkable today and through 2022.
