Te Whau Vineyard
Te Whau Vineyard The Point CS, Mer, CF, Malb, PV 2014 Waiheke Island
Dark berries, full, rich bouquet with an abundance of toasty oak, power and muscle. Dry, full-bodied and rich in flavour, texture and fruit. Medium++ tannins and acidity, a decent core of fruit with noticeable, but not over-bearing alcohol. The palate begins to develop an herbal grassy tobacco layer alongside flavours of dark berries and plums with some bitter chocolate and dark oak spices. Balanced and well made. Drinkable now yet will continue to age. Best from 2022 through 2030.
