Pyramid Valley Vineyard 'Growers Collection Sutherland - Till Vineyard' Chardonnay 2016 Marlborough

Varietal, crisp and familiar bouquet of Chardonnay showing off white fleshed fruits,  citrus and white peach then some wild white flowers and mineral under-currant. Dry, wild and spicy on the palate with a decent measure of oak, no mistaking the alcohol though well in keeping with the style then bright fruit and floral flavours. A light layer of tannins. Lengthy and engaging finish. Balanced and well-made. Drink now and through 2022.
