Mills Reef Reserve Pinot Gris 2017 Hawkes Bay

Voluptuous and rounded bouquet with aromas of ripe white fleshed fruits, lees and spice. Mostly pears and apples then hints of ginger and white pepper. Gentle creamy texture contrasted by medium+ (ish) acidity, moderate warming alcohol and flavours that show off the pear and apple, a light squeeze of citrus peel adds some phenolic texture. Overall lush and easy to drink example. Drink now and through 2022.
