From Chardonnay and Rhone varieties the bouquet shows off yellow stone fruits, a twist of citrus, a light saline or salty quality then suggestion of spicy sweet oak. On the palate - creamy sweet oak, ripe peachy and apple fruits with a lick of citrus and vanilla, some wood spice and oak. Very fine wood tannins and medium acidity. Weighty and very approachable flavour and texture profile, balanced and well-made. Drink now and through 2022.
