Tenafeate Creek Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2022, One Tree Hill, South Australia

Opaque with a vary dark purple core and pink rim. Varietal power and intensity with scents of blackberry and plum, baked red fruits pie, baking spices of vanilla and clove then wood smoke and five spice. Full-bodied on the palate with a core of dark red fruit flavours that mirror the bouquet. Firm tannins and acidity surround the core fruit flavours, they have quite an impact with a dusty firm texture. The plushness of the fruit and softness of the Merlot and sweet oak are key to this wines balance and length. Well made, lengthy and delicious. Best drinking from 2029 through 2040.
