Matahiwi Estate Holly Chardonnay 2023, Hawke's Bay

A distinctive bouquet filled with scents of fresh peach and grapefruit peel, a crumbled dry clay earthy quality and a softer touch of baking spices reflecting some barrel use. A dry wine on the palate with flavours of stone fruits and citrus of equal intensity, fine fruit and some wood tannins layer in mouthfeel and texture. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2028+.
