Lake Road Pinot Gris 2024, Gisborne

A very nice bouquet of peach and apple, citrus and white spice. On the palate a dry wine with a core of pomaceous fruits, a piquant acid line and fleshy mouthfeel. Flavours of pear and apple then citrus pith and a whisper of lees deliver a wine of balance. Well made with best drinking from 2025 through 2027.
