Putangi Pinot Noir 2023, Central Otago

Aromas of rugged Otago hillsides with a savoury core then ripe red berry fruit scents of cherry and fresh red plum, some dried raspberry and stony sandy soil ideas. Dry, firm textures from tannins and acidity then core fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. A grainy texture then warming alcohol. A style that reflects both site and Otago then winemaker style, ready for drinking from 2027 through 2034+. Be good to try this wine again in late 2026.
