Ata Rangi Rosé 2024, Martinborough

An enticing floral bouquet laced with scents of ripe apricot then raspberry, there’s a light smoky quality either from soil or some old barrel (or both) adding complexity and intrigue. Dry, textured with fine tannins and acidity, flavours of red berries and spice, a whisper of smoke and lees layers in more mouthfeel and length. A lovely example with flavour, texture and depth. Best from day of purchase through 2028+.
