Pyramid Valley Rosé 2024, North Canterbury
Salmon and orange Provence hues with a silver polish lead to a bouquet of plush, fresh and ripe tree fruits and a lick of red berry. Aromas of red quince and raspberry, apricot and peach, there’s a fine earth chalky clay soil suggestion. On the palate a dry wine a silky touch then textures from acidity and fine tannins, mineral chalky quality then fruit flavours to reflect the bouquet. Well made, youthful and exciting. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
