Framingham F-Series Old Vine Riesling 2024, Marlborough

Aromas of limes and lime-flower, sherbet and baked apple, white rose and minerals. Just dry as the wine touches the palate with a lick of sweetness contrasted almost immediately by citrus flavours and acidity. Once this tautness and impact settles the flavours of citrus peel, zest and spice begins to power though to the fore. A complex wine that needs time and attention. Well made, still settling into the bottle, so best drinking from 2026 - or longer - through 2038+.
