Selaks 'Apple & Pear' Pinot Gris 2024, Hawkes Bay

Fragrant and fruity, varietal and new. Aromas of apple and pear do indeed come to mind on the first nose of this wine, then scents of poached stone fruits and white nectarine, a leesy residue adds a touch of complexity and depth. A satin-cream texture lands on the palate with the first sip then warming alcohol and medium acidity layer in next. Flavours of pomaceous fruits including pears and apple return as well as a leesy almost bready flavours. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2027.
