I love the bouquet, aromas of dark berry fruits and plums, baked raspberry and distinctive barrel spice and wood smoke. Youthful and primary, enticing and new. Taut, new, full of texture and flavours of red berries and barrel flavours framed by an abundance of polished tannins and acidity. Delicious. fresh and dry, no mistaking the weight and spice, savoury echoes and lick of pepper. Best drinking from 2027 through 2035+.
