Hues of red and old strawberry with an orange rim lead to a bouquet of complexity and development, savoury spice and harmony, dried red berry fruits, and decaying leaves. Dry and textured on the palate with fine grained tannins and acidity framing flavours of berries and plums, spices and wood smoke. Delicious, lengthy and textured, a lovely example that continues to open out over an hour and jut gets better. Drink well from day of purchase through 2028+.
