Pungent, fruity and varietal bouquet with a classic ‘old school’ aroma package of nettles and passionfruit, gooseberry and green herbs. A green skinned apple and lemon pith note adds breadth and style. Lots of mouthfeel with the acid line driving the citrus and herb flavours, a fine silty stone and mineral qualitity emerges as the wine approaches ambient conditions. Well made, and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2028.
