Mt Beautiful Chardonnay 2020, North Canterbury

A wine that has begun it’s perfect drinking window, still taut and precise with aromas of nut and spice, an amalgamation of tree and citrus fruits along with some bottle development. On the palate, dry, taut, intriguing and developing with core textures from acidity and fine tannins, there’s a citrus pith feel to the beginning of the fruit profile, then flavours of wood spice, nut and oatmeal. Dry, well made and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2027+.
