Great colour and bouquet with an intense dark fruited frame, scents of baking spices, dark plums, chocolate, baked raspberry and smoky oak. There’s also a youthful reductive seam that adds complexity and signals the youth of the wine. Firm, textured and dry with textures from tannins and core fruit flavours all accentuated by acidity and a taut mouthfeel. Flavours of earth, stone and wood spices, a delicious wine that has complexity and plenty of charm and power, just needs time to develop some softer edges. Well made with best drinking from late 2025 through 2033+.
