Rich hues of purple and dark red lead to a bouquet filled with scents of roasted Doris plums and blackberry, a layer of violet then iron sand stony qualities. Youthful, firm, dry and fruity as the wine touches the palate. Flavours mirror the bouquet and contrast nicely the dusty fine tannins with a light chalky texture, there’s a nicely measured amount of acidity and earthy mineral qualities return. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2028.
