Wild Estate 'W' Merlot Malbec 2021, Waiheke Island

A delicious wine from start to finish with a bouquet and palate of fresh Doris plums, chocolate and tobacco, there’s plenty of oak wood flavours woven into the mid-palate senses. Firm tannins and plenty of acidity, stony earthy qualities and a persistent red fruit and clove spices storyline. Well made, youthful and belongs in your cellar for a time. Best drinking from 2028 through 2036.
