Aromas and flavours of dark red berry fruits, some wood smoke and brown spices of cinnamon and vanilla. As the wine touches the palate a medium weighted fine tannins textured mouthfeel is noticed first, then flavours of dark plum and macerated cherry flesh follow. Baking spices and a touch of wood smoke return/ A dry finish with a rustic old-world feel. Nice length and finish with best drinking from 2024 through 2029.
