Misha's Vineyard 'Verismo' Pinot Noir 2019, Central Otago

Fantastic wine on the nose and palate, primary red berry scents morph into layers of spice and wood, some smoke and stony mineral qualities then myriad red berry fruit from raspberry to cherry, some pomegranate to to ripe cranberries. On the palate a dry wine with a complex core of fruits and and wood spices, mineral and developing complexities continue to unfurl. A fine layer of savoury spices, mushroom and mineral lees combinations add breadth and depth. A wine to savour on its own or with food. Drinking well now with best drinking from 2026 through 2036+.
