A bouquet of intensity and power, ripeness and intrigue. Aromas and flavours include black currant and Doris plums, dark chocolate and blackberry jam, there’s moments of marmite and toasted barrel spices then velvet roses and clove. Ripe tannins and acid line deliver mouthfeel and tension, core fruit flavours are persistent with a plush ripe quality. Well made, lengthy and rather delicious. Best drinking from 2026 through 2034+.
