Eon of Bendigo Pinot Noir 2023, Central Otago

A varietal, ripe and enticing bouquet of fresh plums and cherry, plenty of flinty minerality at the core, some dried herb and preserved roses a touch of wood smoke complexities. Taut, dry, textured and delicious, a palate with some tension and poise, fruit flavours of plums and cherries, dried herbs and spice. Tannins and acidity set a firmish youthful structure in place framing the rest of the wine nicely. Well made, youthful and ready for drinking from 2026 through 2034.
