Rojo Garnacha 2023, Spain

Great colour and bouquet of ripe red berry fruits, plums and violets. As the wine touches the palate there’s an immediately firmness and youthful from the acidity then tannins, these give way quickly to reveal dark fruit flavours of blackberry then plum. There’s some clove and toasty wood moments, with a balanced even finish. Great food wine, and best enjoyed from 2024 through 2028.
