Colere Ashmore Vineyard 'Fractal' Pinot Noir 2020, Marlborough

A fragrant and engaging bouquet, varietal, youthful with a developing complexity showcasing dried spice, stony clay soil qualities, red fruit spectrum and layers of spice from oak. Taut, dry and textured as the wine touches the palate, tannins have a light grainy feel contrasted by the core varietal fruit flavours - mostly from cherry and plum with some cranberry. Oak adds complexity and texture with light lees and baking spices. Well made with plenty of length and texture. Best drinking from 2025 through 2030+.
