Lawson's Dry Hills Pinot Noir 2020, Marlborough
Very attractive bouquet with a core of varietal primary red berry fruits, spice and earthy minerality with a reductive flinty quality. Youthful, fresh and with complexity. A dry wine touches the palate with core textures from acidity and a mix of fruit and wood tannins, then flavours of crunchy fleshy red cherries, red apple and a mix of wood spices and dried herb qualities. Well made, dry and quite lengthy. BEst drinking from 2025 through 2034.
