Dark ruby and purple hues lead to a bouquet of ripeness and core fruit scents of black cherry and Doris plums, roasted blackberry and a spice basket. Concentrated, ripe and fruity as the wine touches the palate, flavours mirror the bouquet led by plums and dark cherry, there’s a milk chocolate note and myriad spices. Taut and youthful with fine through mildly firm tannins, plenty of acidity and length. A lovely example, great alternative to Merlot and medium+ weighted new world red wine expressions. Best drinking from 2024 through 2029.
