Palliser Estate Pinot Gris 2024, Martinborough

Bright, freshy, aromatic and youthful bouquet of apples and brown pears, there’s a touch of tropical fruit then a layer of ripe citrus. On the palate a just dry wine with a tickle of sweetness, then a core of ripe white fleshed fruit flavours from pear to white nectarine, lees and spice qualities and a clay mineral quality. Excellent acid line and length, overall a lovely example with best drinking from 2025 through 2028.
