Varietal and precise, dark fruited and ethereal. Aromas and flavours of dark skinned tree fruits, plum and cherry then a preserved black currant. There’s a dark spice toasty quality then a lees layer framing the fruit and showing the use of wood, time on skins and length in oak. Well made, taut and new with a backbone of acidity and riper red berry fruits, best drinking from 2026 through 2031+.
