Giesen Uncharted Chardonnay 2020, Marlborough

Aromas and flavours of grapefruit and green apple both enhanced by the acid line, a fine saline quality then flavours of white peach, a layer of lees complexity and light mineral seam suggesting clay and stone. A wine that is still developing needing some time in cellar. Overall and enticing wine with best drinking from 2025 through 2029.
