Dark purple hues with a light rim and some colour staining of the tears lead to a bouquet of variety, violets and wood smoke. Aromas of blackberry and spices, dark roasted plums and clove, moments of tobacco and hard stone earthy qualities. Youthful, vibrant and new as the wine touches the palate, flavours of blackberries and vanilla, roasted nut and clove, smoky wood and tobacco, pencil wood and iron. Delicious, dry, weighty and lengthy with firm tannins and plenty of acidity for freshness and power. A young wine still with best drinking from 2025 through 2034+.
