Palliser Estate 'The Griffin' 2020, Martinborough

A lifted, youthful and citrus lees bouquet with aromas of fresh apple and peach, freshly baked goods with butter brioche then clay minerality. Delicious on the palate with flavours of grapefruit and other citrus then apple, some peach then more baked good. The lees is distinctive with a direct flavour layer adding complexity. The mousse is crisp and refreshing, palate dry on the finish and a youthful complexity. A wine that will easily develop into more toasty qualities over the next few years. Best from 2025 through 2035.
