Chip off the old Block Chardonnay 2021, Marlborough

Aromas of peaches and cream, vanilla and a whisper of butterscotch then baked apple and nut. A satin-cream textures touches the palate at the same time as the oak and nut qualities. Flavours of peaches and baking spice, apple and cashew. Almost full-bodied with a youthful acid line and fine tannins for mouthfeel and complexity. Well made, quite lengthy and ready to drink 2023 through 2029.
